As vintage heads true-and-through, we've definitely noticed an insurgent of everything totally 90s, from celebrities to the catwalk and to our ULTIMATE favorite inspirational source -- street style!
Darks are getting darker, hair is getting messier (still with a touch of chic), t-shirts are getting dingier and we couldn't be more thrilled! We are a total fan of tough black leather, lace, roughed up vintage tees, statement punk shades, and tons of plaid. Some designers that hit it on the nail this season: Nicole Miller, Saint Laurent, Altuzerra, Elle Fashion, who all have mimicked this once and forever loved decade on the cat walk for NY Fashion Week 2013! Rihanna and Katey Perry definitely got hip to this memo and we are loving it! (Crazy mullet vs. fuzzy fanatical sweaters)
We've got some of our own TRUE 90's vintage pieces in the Shop! New pieces will be hitting the store soon. This month has been super packed with some of our own adventures. We've got Atlantic Antic Street Festival in Brooklyn sneaking up on us on Sept 29th, and we're planning on bringing in dope vintage pieces by the truck load! We're also trying to squeeze in a cross-country shopping trip (before the festival of course), and a Fall look book is in the works! So much to do and only a few more weeks to do it!!!!
